This exciting event is both a fundraiser for our growing organization and an opportunity to gather resources and learn about pollinator-friendly native plants into your landscape. There will also be a kids craft table!

On the day of the sale, we’ll be selling 24 establish native plugs from Pizzo Nursery and an additional 25+ varieties of  native seedlings. 

New to native plants? We’ll have resources and information available to help you discover the many benefits of native gardening and how to get started. Come support Go Green Mount Prospect’s first fundraiser and help create healthier habitats for pollinators and wildlife—one garden at a time! More event details coming soon on location and times! NATIVE PLANT LIST

Day of Plug list ($4-$5 a pot): Swamp Rose Mallow, Whorled Milkweed, Purple Coneflower, Brown Fox Sedge, Southern Blue Flag,  Dwarf Blazing Star, Wild Geranium, Rose Milkweed, Butterfly Milkweed, Prairie Dropseed, Pennsylvania Sedge, James's Sedge, Short's Aster, Silky Aster, Columbine, Heartleaf Golden Alexander, Little Bluestem, Northern Blazing Star, Ohio Spiderwort, Prairie Dropseed, Purple Prairie Clover, Wild Petunia, Wild Strawberry


Our day-of seedling sale list has been released. These seedlings will be first come, first served, $3 a pot and cannot be reserved in advance. Seedlings have been grown by volunteers so not as established as plugs, but have several per pot. Seedling list:
